Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and fast growing logistics company, as they seek an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to come in and build their Air Freight division from the ground up.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build and develop the air freight division from the ground up and be responsible for all elements of the division’s development  
• Drive strategic growth of division through effective business planning, using commercial knowledge of the industry built up over time  
• Play a key part in establishing the long-term plan for the division in line with the business’ core values and existing service offering  
• Oversee full recruitment cycle for the division in line with growth  
• Maintain high levels of customer experience to ensure high levels of client satisfaction 

Skills & Experience

• Significant logistics experience, specifically air freight  
• Significant leadership experience and exposure to managing a team, ideally within logistics 
• Proven track record of driving strategic growth within previous logistics position  
• Highly skilled around stakeholder management   
• Effective communicator with strong communication skills  
• Able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
