The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a previous sales or business development role within logistics and fulfilment, and will be confident in leading sales strategy of in line with continued expansion.  

Alongside a fantastic basic salary of up to £40,000 D.O.E., our client is offering a bespoke commission scheme, regular salary reviews and significant career progression opportunities, with other excellent benefits and the freedom to really make the role your own, as a completely new position to their Burton-on-Trent team

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead in business development strategy of Midlands-based operations  
• Identify and develop on new business opportunities through performing effective outbound calls  
• Arrange and attend regular client meetings to generate new business and build on existing opportunities 
• Guide clients through the sales process and advise on solutions that best suit their specific requirements  
• Bring own ideas to the table to maximise new business and drive revenue growth  

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within third party logistics essential  
• Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders 
• Results-driven individual  
• Confident self-starter 
• Valid UK driving licence
