As a result, our client is seeking the addition of a technically astute Business Intelligence Lead to spearhead the strategic development and large-scale implementation of business intelligence processes across their UK business organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Apply expert technical knowledge to create and maintain reporting schemas, ETL reports and Power BI universal design  
• Perform data analysis and performance tuning  
• Oversee and lead the wider BI and data insights teams, providing regular coaching and mentoring to peers to enable them to develop and reach their full potential 
• Monitor innovative technology trends on the market, especially those used by competitors to help drive intelligence enhancements across the BI team  
• Analyse current internal development process and identify areas to enhance BI processes  
• Chair weekly meetings and discussions with C level business leaders and executive stakeholders to answer technical and non-technical queries, provide progress upgrades and showcase improved process changes 
• Collaborate with other technical leaders across the group to analyse and improve wider data architecture and strategies 
• Take ownership for ensuring all data integrity is adhered to in relation to confidentiality and data protection  

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in developing enhanced BI structures and strategies 
• Demonstrable hands-on capabilities working with SQL Servers, BI toolkits, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL and other data visualisation tools  
• Firsthand experience in designing and implementing effective data management processes and innovative data analytic solutions  
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate data teams  
• Well versed in Agile working methodologies  
• Confident in ability to build client relationships with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders  
• Passionate about keeping up to data with the latest data visualisation and analytic tools
