Express Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the East Midlands fastest growing construction companies. Due to opening a brand-new office in Derbyshire, our client is seeking an accomplished Estimator with proven commercial masonry experience.

You will be required to develop & maintain new and existing client relationships by pricing all received tender enquiries and returning in a timely fashion whilst in full adherence with their company policies and procedures.

In return, you will receive a competitive industry salary up to c£40,000, plus holidays, pension, and other benefits. You will be contracted to a 40-hour week, working Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Send out and follow up material enquiries with main supply chain
• Review quotations to ensure price estimates are in accordance with project material specifications
• Liaise with new and existing customers with regards to cost estimates
• Maintain tender project list to monitor current project statuses and store other vital information
• Support the Site Management team daily including producing delivery schedules, taking off materials and checking specifications
• Liaise with the buying team to ensure they have all the accurate information for procuring building materials
• Maintain full adherence with companies’ policies and procedures
• Reading and interpreting masonry drawings when conducting full take offs

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Formal qualification in relevant construction field preferred
• Proven experience with the commercial building sector
• Ability to fully price up and quote masonry packages
• Tender writing experience
• Confident negotiations skills
• Previous site working experience
• Full UK Driving License
