Express Recruitment delighted to be supporting a global construction consultancy who are currently seeking to recruit a small team of building surveyors, to support their operations in the Caerphilly area. This role will commence ASAP and continue for 6 months however there will be potential to extend beyond this dependent on the work and further contracts won. These roles are an advancement of previous successful recruitment drive earlier in the year. In addition to the pay rate quoted below, candidates can claim mileage expenses and also charge for hours, door to door.

You will also be given the opportunity to undertake HHSRS training which is fully funded so presents an excellent opportunity which is incredibly rare in a temporary vacancy!

You have the option to be paid either through PAYE (Pay As You Earn) or as a self-employed contractor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work independently, undertaking inspections on the general conditions of residential properties to an excellent standard
• Conduct surveys on local residential properties
• Undertake full property assessments to guidelines, for which, full training will be given
• Follow policies relating to asbestos management
• Create digital, templated reports on property conditions

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualifications in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying essential
• Previous experience in residential housing or building surveying essential
• Be able to build relationships with customers face to face quickly
• Clean UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle essential
