Our client is an established, award-winning company looking to become market leaders within their industry, with impressive, modern offices based close to Nottingham city Centre. They are looking to recruit a credit control team leader to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of credit controllers to ensure all payments are collected in a timely manner, minimise any risks and exceed KPIs. The ideal candidate will be AAT level 3 qualified, have a strong credit control background and hold previous management experience.

In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a fantastic salary between c£35,000-£42,000 alongside 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays, company pension, regular social events, and genuine career progression.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the department to manage and collect customer debt
• Monitor team workflow and ensure targets and objectives are achieved
• Evaluate any credit check requests and ensure they are in line with credit terms
• Ensure sales ledger is accurate and transactions are made and accounted for
• Assist with month end reporting and the year end audit

Skills & Experience

• A strong credit control background
• Previous supervisory experience is essential
• AAT level 3 or equivalent qualified
• Superb attention to detail and fantastic accuracy
