Express Recruitment are delighted to be continuing their partnership with a well-established firm who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their expanding finance team, based in Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will have previous Credit Control experience, a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The candidate will oversee processing sales invoices, chasing debtors and managing credit control, they will possess great analytical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounts have been contacted for payments to maximise collections
• Raise sales and VAT invoices and send statements of accounts
• Reconciliation of all outstanding debt
• Review accounts and make appropriate credit decisions accordingly
• Liaise with key internal and external contacts to maintain relationships and obtain desired outcomes

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in a credit control department
• AAT level 3 or CICM level 3 qualified advantageous
• Confident and professional communicator
• Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel and Outlook
• Excellent problem solving
