Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Crisis Support Worker on a full-time basis, providing direct first line assistance to victims.

Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about making a difference to people’s lives, and hold a current Enhanced DBS Check or be happy to process one.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for victims
• Attend confidential hospital appointments with individuals
• Handle telephone and email enquiries within a suitable timeframe
• Provide advice and guidance for third party support when required
• Handle urgent on-call requests when required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience of working with vulnerable children in a similar setting
• Happy to attend hospitals on a lone basis with individuals
• Available to work shifts between Monday-Sunday, and be available for on-call shifts when required
• Ability to handle a varied workload in a sensitive setting
• Empathetic and understanding attitude
