As Digital Marketing Executive you will play a pivotal part in continually improving and implementing creative digital marketing strategies that drive our brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

This position will be offered with a fully funded 3-year BA Hons degree in Digital Marketing, facilitated as a Degree Apprenticeship through Nottingham Trent University. 

In recent years, Express Recruitment’s digital marketing initiatives have well and truly flourished following several developments. Each development has been carefully crafted by our current Degree Apprentice, who was given full autonomy to work on some fantastic projects including:  

• A re-brand project across all our recruitment divisions 
• Design and launch of new company website user journey  
• A 25% increase in web traffic following improved web performance 
• Soft launch of a HR-driven company citizenship project – increasing the need for internal digital marketing and content creation  
• Introduction of company TikTok and Instagram Reels  
• Participation at recruitment fairs, expos and award ceremonies – increasing the need for merchandise and branded marketing collateral  
• Launch of new services and sales initiatives increasing the requirement for e-books, digital brochures and email marketing campaigns  

There are truly no limits to this role making it a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing professional looking to achieve their full potential – all whilst working towards a Digital Marketing university degree! That said, the journey doesn’t need to stop with the degree, this is a permanent opportunity for someone who wants to stay and build their career long beyond their degree. 

Professional Experience required:

• Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO is essential  
• Thorough understanding of digital marketing platforms; Google Search Console and Analytics 
• Previous experience with WordPress websites to clean code, manage plug-ins and fix faults 
• Proven social media management experience including LinkedIn is essential  
• Creative graphic design skills with working knowledge of Canva is essential  
• Video design and editing skills highly advantageous  

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of Bs / 6s in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent essential  
• Relevant Level 3 qualifications within Digital Marketing field essential  
• Relevant Level 4 qualifications within Digital Marketing field desirable  
• Confident in ability to commit self to achieve BA Hons Degree in Digital Marketing

Starting Salary: c£22,500 – £24,000 per annum D.O.E + Benefits package   

Job Type: Permanent, offered initially as a Level 6 BA Hons Degree Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing for 3 years (Fully funded by the company)
