Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading holding companies. Due to substantial financial growth and continued investment into their facilities, they are keen to expand their site maintenance team with addition of several Electrical Bias Facilities Engineers.

Not only is this a highly varied role where no two days are the same, you will also gain the opportunity to work with some of the leading technology within automation, because of a multi-million-pound investment by the company.

You will be contracted to double days, working 6:00am-2:00pm and 1:00pm-9:00pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, you will be rostered on to a call out rota, where you will be required to work 1 weekend in every 4 (this is paid at time ½ premium overtime rate). In addition, you will receive £75 bonus each time you are active on the rota.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment throughout the site, such as LPHW boilers, HVAC units, ventilation systems and control panels
  • Maintain and repair PPM systems in adherence with preventative and reactive maintenance rotas
  • Assist with the commissioning of new automated machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Diagnosing electrical system faults, including control panels, lighting systems, access control equipment, audio equipment and CCTV equipment
  • Monitor bespoke Maintenance Management System and ensure emerging maintenance breakdowns are reacted within an appropriate time
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation in compliance with outlined company procedures e,g. fault reports
  • Work in accordance with KPI/SLA targets set out by the business
  • Comply with all site Health & Safety regulations and legislation
  • Respond to out of hours calls when on rota
  • Carry out PAT Testing tasks when required

Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC/City & Guilds Electrical qualification essential
  • 18th edition qualified preferred
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HVAC systems and general ancillary equipment
  • Experience working with BMS systems
  • Legionella trained, with broad knowledge and experience of water treatment maintenance and installation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, KPI driven environment
  • Basic plumbing knowledge desirable
  • Flexible with shift work, including occasional weekends and call outs
