Express Recruitment are working alongside an industrial equipment supplier who are market leaders within their niche field. Due to continued year on year growth our client is seeking the addition of an Electrical Commissioning & Servicing Engineer to join their talented team with the effective and efficient delivery/installation of varied industrial components across regional client sites. 

This role consists of a 70/30 split between the workshop and client sites. For this reason, the successful candidate must possess a full UK driving license.  

The successful candidate will earn a base salary of up to £36,000 with OTE earnings of up to c£45,500 with a call out done on a 1 in 6-week basis paid at enhanced overtime rates. In addition, you will receive a company van, phone and laptop with full PPE and tools provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to make a real difference and constantly learn, upskill, and develop as a Senior Electrical Engineer. 

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Fault finding, diagnostic and repairs on a range of industrial electrical equipment  
• Working and maintaining electrical systems in the workshop or out on site  
• Servicing and maintaining various inverter drive systems  
• Fitting and testing of a variety of electrical components including variable speed drives  
• Disassembly and refitting of electrical components including control panels  
• Attending client sites throughout the Midlands to assist with inverter drive system installation and commissioning projects  

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician either apprentice trained or C&G Level 3 equivalent  
• 18th edition qualified  
• Experienced within electrical servicing, fault-finding and repair work 
• PLC fault finding experience preferred  
• Knowledge of LV control panel wiring and assembly a distinct advantage  
• Experience in installation and commissioning of inverter drive systems desirable but not essential  
• Installation experience working on wastewater treatment plants or pumping stations advantageous   
• Comfortable with on call rota being 1 in 6 weeks 
• Full UK driver’s license
