Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage the supplier quality, cost and timely delivery in-line with company strategy and requirements
• Assist with the development of the company supply base
• Help to maintain records and documentation in-line with process control procedure
• Liaise frequently with the Finance, Engineering, HSEQ, Supply Chain and Projects Teams to support the business strategy and maintain close communication throughout
• Develop key business relationships with clients, key stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
• Help to develop and implement process improvements and LEAN methodologies principles
• Deal with any buying/supply chain related issues by coming up with effective solutions
• Maintain up to date knowledge of technical products within specified markets and push for continued investment in product innovation

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience within Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Purchasing
• Experience of developing Continuous Improvement techniques
• Demonstrable technical knowledge of automated engineering products and technologies
• Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• A natural ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with people on all levels
