Our client is currently seeking a Field Based Project Support Cloud Specialist to attend client sites throughout the UK and demonstrate first class customer service and problem-solving capabilities.

Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will have a full UK Driving Licence and be expected to travel both local and nationwide on a weekly basis.

In return, you will receive a generous starting salary of up to c£33,000, plus car allowance, fuel card, birthday off work, pension, healthcare scheme and continuous training opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diarise weekly visits to client sites to conduct routine and reactive maintenance repairs
• Collaborate with wider project team by attending meetings and outlining objectives to achieve successful delivery of projects
• Perform software migrations, upgrades and set ups including MS Office 365 applications, Active Directory and MS Exchange
• Maintain critical business cloud infrastructure via remote support when required
• Work extensively with virtualisation technologies including VMWare, Hyper-V and Citrix
• Install and configure firewall and malware technologies, switches and other networks
• Act as senior point of escalation for on site customers
• Implement Windows 10 servers and perform Windows 11 upgrades
• Produce project progress and budget spend reports and communicate findings to Project Delivery Manager

Skills & Experience 

• Holder of a formal IT qualification
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MS domain infrastructure (Active Directory, MS Exchange)
• Proven experience working with cloud-based infrastructure platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Demonstrate experience in delivering migration and software upgrade projects desirable
• Possess the ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders on all levels
• Display capabilities in working to tight project deadlines
• Hold relevant service desk or IT support work experience
• Full UK Driving Licence essential
