Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a company who promise growth and value personal development, who are looking for a Health, Safety and Quality Lead to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be either CMIOSH or NEBOSH accredited and have considerable Health and Safety experience within an industrial environment. To be considered for this role, you will need a full, clean UK Driving Licence.

There is a salary of up to c£40,000 per annum D.O.E on offer, alongside a generous benefits package that includes private healthcare, travel allowance and sick pay.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing and implementing ISO9001 accreditation on site
• Reviewing processes and operations on site to ensure they are relevant and being followed
• Keeping up to date with operational practises including making ad hoc changes to legislation as required
• Investigating emerging Health and Safety issues raised by members of the team
• Ensuring general Health and Safety positions on site, including First Aiders and Fire Marshalls, are carried out per to company policies and procedures
• Reviewing manufacturing areas on a weekly basis including checking working and safety equipment, and general safety of the working environment
• Updating training modules for all staff on site
• Auditing sites to ensure compliance and Health and Safety regulations are being met across the entire business
• Undertaking reviews and conducting interviews regarding accidents on site

Skills and Experience

• Up to date with Health and Safety legislation including either CMIOSH or NEBOSH accreditation
• Experience within the manufacturing or logistics sector
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with professional presentation experience being desirable
• Able to work with a strong emphasis on client GDPR and SLAs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Considerable Health and Safety experience within an industrial environment, with automation being advantageous
