This position is initially offered as Maternity Leave cover on a Fixed Term Contract until May 2026.
Responsibilities include
- Oversee hiring and onboarding processes to include offer management and induction
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs and tailored plans at all levels and regularly update training material
- Collaborate with managers to identify employee training needs and monitor and improve performance particularly in sales targets and billings
- Conduct group workshops, coaching sessions, and provide ongoing support through 121s and performance appraisal process
- Foster a positive company culture by promoting initiatives, incentives, and strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, values, and reinforce desired behaviours
- Work with PA to lead team-building activities, Christmas events, quarterly socials, and charity initiatives and sit on the Employee Engagement Committee
- Collaborate with directors to chair team meetings and deliver key announcements
- Manage HR record keeping using HRIS to include absenteeism and leave management
- Support employee relations and offer guidance to employees and managers relating to disciplinary, grievance and disputes
Additional quality and compliance responsibilities:
- Support inspections related to both REC and government regulations and ensure the required standard is upheld in daily operations
- Assist with complex candidate compliance and background checking on behalf of recruitment agency clients
- Work with PA to spot-check compliance and assist with audit escalations
- Collaborate with directors to handle grievances and disciplinary processes related to quality issues with employees of all levels
- Work with PA to monitor health and safety measures and maintain a compliant workplace
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within sales operations, office management, or HR essential
- Experience managing performance in a sales-driven environment advantageous
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects essential
- Proven experience delivering training highly desirable
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification or equivalent HR qualifications highly desirable
- Previous recruitment agency experience or understanding of REC and government legislation advantageous
