Due to further expansion and development of a brand-new storage facility, our client is seeking to add a new dynamic set of skills to their ranks in the form of a HSEQ Manager.

The successful candidate will be tasked with the day-to-day site management and ongoing development of this new site. You ensure all HSE management systems are correctly implemented, and all related site operations are adhered to.

You will be based at their new facilities in Hampshire.

In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of up to £55,000, plus a company car, fuel card, pension, non-contractual bonus and lots of other great benefits!

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and management of HSE systems, ensuring full adherence to the company compliance standards
  • Liaise daily with line management to effectively support with incident investigations
  • Devise site training programmes to deliver strategy on H&S behaviour and outline company compliance
  • Carry out frequent risk assessments and assist with site audits
  • Produce MI and reports as required
  • Collaborate with operations leaders & department managers to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries
  • Observe and investigate ongoing work practices and provide strategic advice and support to help develop and implement improvements

Skills & Experience

  • NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH Managing Safely trained
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering improved HSE performance
  • Highly skilled in areas of risk assessments, auditing, accident investigation and method statements
  • Demonstrable Process Safety experience
  • Knowledge of working on COMAH sites
  • Experience within the Gas, Chemical, Energy or Hazardous industry sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills on all senior levels
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small team
  • Flexible with working hours and travelling when required
  • Full UK Driving Licence
