We’re on the search for an energetic individual, with a passion for new business, to join a highly innovative software company.

In this role, you can expect to play an important part in the growth of new business, taking on a hybrid position that will see you get involved with some direct client interaction, sales administration and bid writing.

To be successful, you’ll have a passion for innovative technology, and a competitive mindset that drives you to succeed in a sales based role.

Duties to include:

• Liaise with both new and existing clients via the telephone, with the objective of providing an insight into the features and benefits of this business’s solution
• Keep the company’s CRM system up to date, and use it to generate in-depth sales reports
• Support Account Managers with client interaction
• Produce detailed quotations for clients
• Create engaging bids and proposals to win new business

Background required:

• Previous experience within a technical setting, such as software
• Previous experience in a sales/account management role desirable
• Strong commercial acumen, with the motivation to play a key part in business development
• Good education background with a minimum of a 2:1 degree or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexible attitude, with the willingness to support colleagues in multiple functions during busy periods

Location: Nottingham

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

Salary: c£24,000 D.O.E.
