Due to continued growth our client is on the lookout for a Supply Chain Graduate to join their purchasing team!

This would be a perfect opportunity for a Supply Chain graduate or Junior Purchasing Assistant/Coordinator to get stuck into a new opportunity to progress into a full Buyer’s position!

In return, you will receive a starting salary of up to c£24,000 per year, alongside the working hours of Tuesday-Thursday (7:00am – 3:30pm) and Friday-Saturday (4:00am – 12:00pm).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new suppliers
• Interpret trends and patterns in market requirements and make informed purchasing decisions based on your findings
• Negotiate prices with suppliers
• Complete regular documentation for oversea orders
• Work closely with the goods in team to ensure all inbound stock is received accurately and on time
• Carry out regular stock takes for all goods in

Skills & Experience 

• Previous experience within a buying/purchasing position highly advantageous
• Previous experience within stock control & ordering stock
• Confident working individually and as part of a team
• Keen desire to learn and progress career within supply chain
• Previous experience within a face paced customer service environment highly desirable
