Due to substantial company growth, our client are seeking an accomplished and highly accredited Quality Manager to lead, manage and support their quality site team.

In return, you will receive an industry leading salary of up to c£55,000, including a generous remuneration package including pension scheme, 25 days holiday + stats, and the chance to be sponsored for future training programmes and work related qualifications.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and Lean Practices across the company’s manufacturing and on site operations
  • Implement and firmly establish new Quality Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing methods
  • Educate Quality team members on newly established practices and processes and ensure they are in full adherence of all regulations and legislation
  • Implement continuous improvement processes in order to improve overall quality of the manufacturing process and ultimately reduce waste
  • Lead internal and external audits and create coherent business plans based on findings
  • Carry out in-depth root cause analysis and publicise findings in order to support ongoing implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate frequently with the Procurement Department in order to support with Supplier Quality Assurance Activities
  • Train and mentor senior management, line managers and site workers on new Lean Manufacturing implementations, especially Kaizen
  • Maintain accurate records and quality documentation in accordance with business and client requirements
  • Attend project sites and monitor sub-contractor performance in relation to quality standards being adhered to

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Degree/HND qualified in relevant STEM discipline
  • Proven implementation experiencer of Lean Manufacturing practices, including Kaizen and 5S
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of latest Quality Management Systems used in the construction industry
  • Lead Auditor qualified preferred but not essential
  • Good understanding of construction codes, safety processes and legislation
  • ISO:9001 & ISO:14001 accredited
  • Holder of a formal HSE qualification desirable
