Express Recruitment are working with a UK-Leading Industrial Tool Manufacturer who are looking to hire a Manual Machinist to join their team of industry professionals on a full time, permanent basis. 

The role will involve manufacturing and repairing mechanical assemblies, performing milling operations, balancing mechanical assemblies, and recording data on company system. 

Required experience required to apply for the role includes manual machining in an industrial setting, working in a team and individually in a similar role, manual milling and turning, and working with a wide range of materials. 

For the position, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£28,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies using a range of machine tools 
• Perform milling operations including drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional lathe and milling 
• Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment 
• Record all data necessary on company’s bespoke system 
• Maintain machines on site and ensure any defects are reported to management 
• Ensure company Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times 

Skills and Experience 

• Demonstrable experience with manual machining within an industrial setting 
• Confident working both in a team and individually 
• Conventional manual milling and turning experience 
• Experience working with a wide range of materials 
• Ability to independently read and interpret technical drawings
