The successful candidate will receive a competitive starting salary of up to c£15.40 per hour and working hours of 4:00pm – 2:00am, Monday – Wednesday & 4:00pm – 1:00am, Thursday, with fantastic overtime rates up to time and a half. Shift bonus paid weekly in addition to basic salary.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and set multi axis CNC milling machines
• Work to extra fine tolerances between 1-5mm
• Operate a wide range of calibration measuring equipment including verniers and callipers
• Follow instructions from complex CAD engineering drawings
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards on the shopfloor
• Work to tight project deadlines
• Adhere to LEAN improvement methods to minimise waste and downtime
• Carry out visual quality inspections on newly machined parts and report any issues to Workshop Manager

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working with hard and exotic metals
• Experience setting and operating HAAS CNC Milling Machines
• Experience on Twin Spindle/Turret Machinery highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Previous experience in offline programming desirable but not essential

Hours: Monday – Wednesday, 4:00pm – 2:00am & Thursday, 4:00pm – 1:00am

Salary: c£30,000 per annum D.O.E + opportunities for enhanced pay and weekly allowance of £60
