Our client is an established, award-winning company looking to become market leaders within their industry. Due to continued business growth and investment in recruitment, our client is seeking an Operations Administrator, ideally an individual with proven Lightning Protection industry experience.  

The starting salary is up to £30k and the working hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday. In addition, a generous holiday allowance is offered throughout the year with access to shared company vehicles and plenty of room for career progression as well as further salary increases upon completion of training milestones.  

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and secure orders  
  • Research new and existing construction materials and installation techniques 
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues on a regular basis  
  • Maintain routine administration of internals systems using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Organise and manage access equipment, plant, materials, stock and training needs 
  • Reach out to training providers to book Engineers on day courses and online tests to obtain site certifications  
  • Assist HSEQ personnel with internal audits and risk assessments 
  • Assisting purchasing department with invoice preparation and credit control  Work with Marketing department to review social media and web content, ensuring company updates are publicised through all social channels  

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in Lightning Protection industry sector a distinct advantage  
  • Experience in a similar role within construction or civil engineering desirable  
  • Relevant qualification, ideally educated to degree level 
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, mainly Excel 
  • Full UK driving license preferred
