Our client is looking for a commercially aware and experienced Product Owner or Developer to join their team in Mansfield. You will be responsible for optimising costs, and speed to market while adhering to assurance and quality compliance.

Directly reporting to the COO Overseas, although working within a UK based team, you will be responsible for managing the full product life cycle, from the initial concept all the way through to the delivery of the product going to market.

Our client is offering a salary of c£35,000 per annum, plus the opportunity to travel internationally as part of the role.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the full product life cycle from the initial concept right through to delivery, managing each part of the process effectively
• Review and analyse products when they are complete to ensure it meets the required specs and requirements
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure all components of the products are inline with the brief and manufactured to agreed time scales
• Final check all products before they are set to market to check for quality against the spec
• Conduct research into products and current market trends to identify any gaps in the market for any new products, or ways to improve current products

Skills & Experience

• Previous relevant experience as a Product Developer in a manufacturing organisation essential
• Interest or knowledge of Military Simulation advantageous but not essential
• Must be able to multitask and work on numerous projects at once
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and team player
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written
