We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager to join a busy and growing Software House based in Nottinghamshire. They have continued their success in 2020 and have recently begun the next phase of their growth, which includes the addition of a Product Manager to help guide their product and expansion strategy.

Duties:

• Ability to understand the steps required to successfully launch a software product in a competitive market
• Quickly understand the strengths and features of the product
• Provide guidance and direction to the product teams on the tasks and schedules that will lead to the successful launch
• Support the development of product documentation for customer training
• Support the development of the product marketing materials and provide input on the channels to market the product successfully
• Liaise with the Technical Development Team on product specifications, pre and post-release of the product
• Support the Sales Team in the preparation of product demonstrations and sales materials
• Work with the Development Team to create an exciting suite of applications and products

Background:

• Experience working in similar product position
• Proven experience working with cross-disciplinary teams
• The ability to understand and translate complex technical ideas to non-technical personnel
• Excellent customer interaction skills including demonstratable experience of external and internal stakeholder management
• History of management and mentoring of junior team members
• Experience defining requirements necessary for the delivery of large software applications
• A background in software development, IT/web project management or another technology related role would be highly advantageous
