Our client is an established, award-winning company looking to expand within their industry, with impressive, modern offices based close to Nottingham City Centre. They are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Accounts department to manage the Purchase Ledger.

The ideal candidate will be Level 2 AAT qualified (or higher) with previous experience in an Accounts role looking to grow and develop career in an exciting new role.

In return our client is offering a competitive salary of up to c£28,000 and a great benefits package including 33 days annual leave including bank holidays, a contributary pension scheme, as well as training opportunities to further own development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process high volume of invoices and identity invoices that need paying promptly
• Prepare and process payment runs
• Liaise with internal and external suppliers and customers to provide resolutions
• Assist with closing the ledger at month end
• Maintain and edit accurate suppliers’ ledgers

Skills & Experience

• Level 2 AAT qualified (or higher)
• Previous purchase ledger experience
• Able to handle a large workload and hit deadlines
• Ability to work cohesively within a team
• Confidence to work on own initiative to complete tasks
