Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a well-established, nationwide property management company. Our client is currently looking for a Caretaker to provide ongoing maintenance support across their extensive portfolio of properties in and around the central Nottingham area. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘hands on’ attitude towards work. 

It is essential candidates have a full driving license for this role. If not, you need not apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and tidy 
• Conduct regular fire alarm and emergency light testing 
• Mow lawns and surrounding grass areas, weeding and planting flowers  
• Maintain the surrounding areas, such as gardens, footpaths and driveway areas  
• Comply with company health and safety policy 
• Support Trades Technicians with various installation and repair tasks  
• Report any escalated maintenance issues found 

Skills & Experience

• General trade related maintenance skills and experience  
• Happy working in a mixture of indoor and outdoor environments  
• Full UK driving license 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills  
• Strong organisational and time management skills 
• Flexibility with overtime and occasional emergency call outs
