Express Recruitment are excited to be working with a fabulous Education Trust based in Nottingham City Centre. We are looking to speak with experienced Pastoral Support staff who are looking for an opportunity to join an organisation with exciting expansion plans for 2021.

Duties to include

  • Provide emotional and physical support to children aged 11 – 19 years
  • Aid children to perform to their own potential whilst protecting their safety, happiness and welfare daily
  • Conduct regular 121’s with students to ensure any problems are dealt with appropriately
  • Support the students to integrate well with other students in school hours
  • Highlight potential concerns to teaching staff, clinicians and guardians

Background required

  • Natural compassion and empathy skills, able to support children through difficulties
  • Considerable experience working with vulnerable children aged 11 – 19 years
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding protocol, with specific training on child welfare
  • Relevant qualification in Child Development, Childcare, Teaching, or Social Care highly desirable
  • Enhanced DBS Check essential, or willingness to process prior to interview

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm (term time only)
