Due to a stacked-up order book and increasing financial growth, our client has an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and highly experience Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Construction and Structural Architectural Department.

In return, you will receive a leading starting salary of up to c£75,000 including bonus, plus a c£6K car allowance, pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and genuine opportunities for continued progression.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work across multiple structural and commercial architectural JCT/NEC contracts up to £35m
• Attend and lead on site meetings and lead site surveys and inspections
• Manage contract disputes by providing fast and affective solutions
• Carry out site measurements and valuation duties
• Provide detailed cost estimates for a range of local and UK wide projects
• Prepare detailed contracts and tenders including bill of quantities
• Manage budget requirements and be heavily involved in the cost management process
• Maintain up to date knowledge of companies range of specialist products
• Manage and oversee workloads of Junior/Graduate Quantity Surveyor Team and delegate tasks when necessary

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying highly desirable
• Proven experience working with JCT suite of contracts essential
• Proven experience in dispute management essential
• Proven contract negotiation experience
• Full, clean, UK driving license
