Due to continuous financial growth, our client requires the addition of an experienced and ‘hands on’ Shift Warehouse Manager to assist with the daily running of their state-of-the-art automated warehouse. 

In return, you will receive a basic starting salary of £40,000. Other benefits include pension, generous holiday allowance, staff discount, overtime, and opportunities for future career progression.  

Please note this is a shift working position, with hours consisting of 12-hour days/nights on a 4 on/4 off basis (6am-6pm & 6pm-6am). In return, you will receive a shift premium of £2,500 in addition to the basic salary.  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of the automation flow team 
• Perform daily data base analysis and extract SCADA data performance and visualisation reports  
• Lead the configuration and upgrades of automated flow systems and expansion of new automated lines  
• Ensure stock is picked, packed and fully processed ready for collection in adherence with KPI targets and monitor automated efficiency output against manual picking operations  
• Collaborate with Site Manager regarding the deployment of staff training sessions and recruitment   
• Implement and drive continuous improvement to enhance operational processes via the use of a range of tools and methodologies  
• Maintain adherence to strict safety regulations across the site and safe operation of automated PPMs  

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrable warehouse supervisory/management experience in an automated warehouse environment essential  
• Previous experience working with SCADA systems highly desirable  
• Well versed with continuous improvement methodologies  
• The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team  
• Handle pressure in a busy KPI driven environment  
• Excellent communication on all senior levels  
• Excellent Health & Safety awareness  
• Flexible with shift working and overtime when required
