Due to increased production, they are seeking an experienced Injection Mould Operator to join their Engineering team. The successful candidate will be an individual who holds in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process and how to manually operate injection moulding machines.

Due to the demanding nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work continental shifts on a basis of 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6.

In return, you can expect a competitive starting salary of up to c£23,000, plus regular overtime opportunities which is paid at an enhanced rate.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and run multiple injection moulding cells
• Ensure that all cells are running smoothly and highting production targets
• Highlight and identify defective parts and quality issues on cells
• Ensure all packing fittings meet company standards and report any quality issues
• Implement LEAN manufacturing processes to ensure a smoother production line

Skills & Experience 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing process or production line environment
• Knowledge of injection machinery maintenance
• A degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes including 5s, Kaizen and Right First Time
• Excellent awareness of health and safety procedures

Hours: Full Time Continental (6-2) (2-10) (10-6)

Salary:  c£23,000 per annum D.O.E + Overtime

Location: Derby, Derbyshire
