The successful candidate will hold extensive experience in a similar tax position in a UK accountancy practice, supporting varied client work including complex corporate tax, trusts and inheritance matters.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to c£60k D.O.E. (full time equivalent) with flexible hybrid working on offer, options are available to work across 3,4 or 5 days with administrative tasks being covered by other members of the team. There may also be the option to negotiate a bonus structure for the right candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of corporate, personal, and indirect tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation while offering strategic tax planning advice to clients
• Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, delivering tailored solutions and building long-term client relationships to support their financial goals
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff, providing technical guidance and ensuring the quality of their work meets professional standards

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a similar tax role within an accountancy practice
• CAT qualified
• Ambitious mindset with the ability to autonomously make decisions
• Good IT skills, to include MS Office essential, specialist accountancy software advantageous
