We are proud to be supporting our client with the recruitment of their newest Hub Support Administrator, to act as an office-based emotional support person for survivors of sexual abuse. The successful candidate will be a passionate individual with a range of telephone and administration skills, combined with knowledge of supporting vulnerable survivors of abuse.  

Due to the nature of the role, candidates will need to be willing for us to process an Enhanced DBS on your behalf.    

This is a part-time role with the following working patterns, and hybrid working options are available:  

  • Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm  
  • Wednesday, 11.30am – 7.30pm 
  • Saturday Mornings, 1 in every 5 

Although this role starts off on a Temporary basis, our client does offer a generous benefits package for those who become permanent employees of their organisation, which is inclusive of; extra leave for occasions such as birthdays, weekly emotional support meetings/EAP, ongoing training and development, and more.

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Update multiple bespoke databases with sensitive client information 
  • Signpost service users from a waiting list to external third-party organizations 
  • Liaise with police, health and social services via telephone and email 
  • Co-ordinate a high volume of appointments between clients and counsellors
  • Complete risk assessments and process referrals  

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working directly with victims of abuse 
  • Strong administrative skills, demonstrated through previous experiences 
  • Ability to use IT systems 
  • Strong data management skills 
  • Empathetic and patient attitude essential  
  • Great organisational skills, to manage a varied workload
