Express Recruitment are thrilled to be working in partnership with a reputable Public Sector organisation in Central Lincolnshire. Our client is looking for three experienced Temporary Full Time Customer Service Administrators to join their team working closely to support Senior Management across various operations including Children and Adult Social Care, Housing and Repairs and more.

Please note the role offers a good work-life balance working seven hour shifts per day Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm. Following training hybrid working is offered and permanent opportunities may arise within this team for those who do well.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries from the public and professionals regarding Adult Care and Wellbeing Services
  • Provide information, advice and access to members of the public for appropriate services supporting positive outcomes for customers
  • Gather and record sensitive information using bespoke internal databases
  • Ensure effective call control and professional curiosity to determine the most appropriate outcome for the individual
  • Manage complex, sensitive and emotive conversations including safeguarding concerns in a calm and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate real-time records by typing while talking to ensure contacts are handled efficiently

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a busy customer service or contact centre environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations sensitively
  • Strong IT and typing skills with confidence using multiple systems simultaneously
  • A customer-focused and empathetic approach with a passion for helping people
  • Experience in a social care or housing setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
