Express Recruitment are delighted to be providing continuous support to one of our clients who are specialists within the Warehousing and Distribution sector. Due to huge growth plans our client are on the Lookout for 3x Transport Controllers to join their talented team.

The successful candidate will receive a starting salary of up c£27,500 and work shifts rotating on a weekly basis from 6am – 2pm, 8:30am – 4:30pm & 2pm – 10pm.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that drivers are correctly briefed and debriefed at the start and end of shifts
• Ensure that all DVIR checks are completed daily, and any defects are raised and actioned
• Complete administrative tasks associated with delivery paperwork and POD queries
• Support the Transport Manager in the setup of agency drivers
• Control and manage the driving resource

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy transport control role
• Competent in MS office packages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Desire to thrive in a fast-paced transport environment
