Job Description

Our valued client is looking for a responsible and caring personality to be a Registered Manager for Children’s’ Residential Homes in Nottinghamshire.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting the Quality Standards for children’s homes as defined in the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Promoting children’s welfare and safeguarding their wellbeing
  • Creating a positive physical and emotional environment where children and young people can achieve their potential

Background Required

  • 1 year minimum experience of managing Children’s Residential Homes
  • Ability to manage the home including allocation of duties and responsibilities, staff deployment, day to day supervision, and oversight
  • Ability to present as a stable and consistent role model for young people, staff, and the department
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise using effective organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in relation to writing reports and letters
  • Willingness to undergo a satisfactory enhances DBS check and to register with the DBS Update Service or hold a satisfactory enhanced DBS check for the correct workforce plus existing registration for the DBS Update Service
