Job Description

Express Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established public sector organisation, working within a busy Tenancy & Estates department. Our client are seeking an experienced Administrator / Customer Service professional to work for a busy commercial office, supporting with various exciting administration and customer support tasks.


  • Answer incoming telephone calls from customers with general queries
  • Respond to housing issues including income collections (via telephone and email)
  • Type a range of correspondence to include confidential letters and documents
  • Use a range of computer systems to include MS Office and bespoke databases
  • Enter and analyse customer data, using platforms such as Ms Excel         


  • Previous experience working within housing (desirable not essential)
  • Able to use bespoke databases and IT systems such as MS Office
  • Professional telephone manner, able to record call information accurately
  • Able to keep calm during sensitive situations
  • Knowledge of The Data Protection Act and GDPR

Salary: c£9.00-c£11.00 per hour

Location: Loughborough, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Duration: Temporary for approx. 12 weeks, potential to extend
