Job Description

Our client is an established, award winning company looking to become market leaders within their industry, with impressive, modern offices based close to Nottingham city centre. They are looking to recruit a Trainee Finance Administrator to join their busy accounts department.

If you are a bright, enthusiastic and hardworking person then this would be an excellent opportunity to develop your career working for an exciting and expanding company. Experience within a similar role would be ideal, but not essential as full training will provided. The starting salary will be c£15K working 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. There also some excellent bonuses offered including 25 days holiday per year, life assurance and a contributory pension scheme.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Passing off supplier invoices
  • Checking supplier invoices
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Checking supplier statements
  • Querying supplier invoices
  • Groupage outturn report
  • Ringing suppliers e.g. chasing invoices, dealing with queries etc..
  • Liaising with other members to make payments to new suppliers/paying Duties etc.

Required attributes:

  • Knowledge of finance sector advantageous  
  • Good GCSE Maths/English B and above (or equivalent)
  • Methodical approach
  • Enthusiastic
  • Career minded
