Express Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a fantastic new client based in the centre of Leicester. They are seeking a talented payroll specialist to join their busy team.  

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, and will be required to work with a high level of accuracy in order to support the Payroll department.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring payroll information is processed accurately and on time
  • Providing training, coaching and mentoring to the team when required
  • Period end reporting and interfacing files from HMRC
  • Ensuring all information is sent to the correct departments in a timely manner for payment
  • Answering complex payroll queries from clients
  • Ensuring employee pensions are correctly set up
  • Maintaining the database of staff information

Skills/ Experience required:

  • Experience working in a similar Payroll position
  • CIPP training advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal and professional integrity
