Job Description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic local authority with the Recruitment of a Temporary Payroll professional to provide support within a busy Financial Services team.

Our highly reputable client, who are based in the heart of Loughborough, are looking for an individual who can assist with the production of Payroll across all platforms to hit the ground running with their forward thinking and busy team.  

Duties to include:

  • Enter payroll data onto a bespoke financial system
  • Ensure payments are made within strict timescale deadlines
  • Complete monthly reconciliations of payroll
  • Submit payroll information to external organisations including HMRC
  • Liaise with the financial management team on a regular basis

Background:

  • Previous Senior Payroll experience (local authority desirable)
  • Knowledge of Payroll policies and procedures
  • Experience of communicating with management at all levels
  • Able to use MS Excel and bespoke accounts databases
  • Strong timekeeping skills, able to meet strict timescale deadlines

Salary: c£13.00 per hour

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm (flexible)

Duration: Temporary for approx. 12 weeks, potential to extend
