Job Description

Our client are an award winning outsourced IT support organisation with clients across the East Midlands. They are seeking 2 competent and experienced IT Engineers to join the team. The role will require travelling to client sites across the East Midlands so the successful candidates must have access to their own vehicle.

Duties include:

  • Supporting junior members of the team and acting as the escalation point for all issues
  • Provisioning of hands on 2nd line support as well as having exposure to 3rd line support
  • Taking part in project work, working collaboratively with members of IT management
  • Liaising with and escalating to alternative infrastructure support teams
  • Holding accountability for incidents escalated by more junior members of the team

Skills/experience required:

  • Demonstrable track-record in a similar position
  • Qualifications in ITIL or MCSA
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Experience and knowledge within Windows 7-10, Windows Server 2008-2016, Powershell scripting, Cisco, VMware
  • Excellent communication skills and rapport building skills to develop relationships on client site
