Job Description

Express Recruitment’s Legal Division are delighted to be supporting an award winning regional Law Firm with their current recruitment drive. Our prestigious client is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancer, able to work on their own initiative to support busy ‘New Builds’ and ‘Estates’ teams in Newark.

Duties to include:

  • Directly attend to clients and take instruction
  • Manage own Conveyancing caseload in line with legal procedure
  • Update Land Registry information 
  • Handle clients efficiently and politely and escalate urgent matters if required
  • Support all client matters on a timely and cost effective basis
  • Cross sell the firm’s additional legal services and identify opportunities

Background:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licenced Conveyancer
  • Able to manage own case load of property matters at Conveyancer level essential
  • Previous experience within Residential Conveyancing essential
  • Working knowledge of ‘New Build’ estates desirable
  • Competent computer user, to include case management systems
