Field Sales Executive – Cantonese or Mandarin Speaking

Overview

Express Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing FMCG business as they expand their Sales team. They’re looking for a Field Sales Executive to join them, and no previous sales experience is needed. If you’re personable, motivated and keen to start a career in sales, this could be the perfect opportunity.

This is a fast-paced, field-based role where you’ll build relationships with wholesale and retail customers across the London area, helping to win new business and grow existing accounts in the food industry. Full training and support will be provided, along with clear progression routes for those who want to develop.

There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to c£34,000 per annum with an OTE of c£10,000, alongside a company car, pension, annual leave and the opportunity to join a successful and expanding organisation offering long-term career development.

Skills & Experience
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills
  • A genuine desire to build a career in sales
  • Experience in any customer-facing role, such as retail, hospitality, hospitality, wholesale or FMCG, where you’ve built good relationships with people
  • A confident, energetic and proactive attitude, with the drive to work independently and meet new people
  • A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel around the territory
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Visiting and building relationships with new and existing customers, including supermarkets, wholesalers and key accounts across London
  • Following up on a ready-made prospect list, alongside finding your own leads, with support from the team every step of the way
  • Helping customers grow their spend by introducing them to new products, ranges and categories
  • Planning your own territory routes and regularly visiting customers face to face, working towards agreed targets
  • Working closely with the Sales, Buying and Operations teams to meet customer needs, and keeping up to date with Asian food trends and what competitors are doing
