Marketing Manager

Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a rapidly growing and ambitious digital marketing agency who are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to join their talented team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital marketing professional to take on a varied role overseeing SEO and Paid Media performance, while also providing hands-on support across digital campaigns. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, challenge channel specialists, oversee client performance and act as a senior point of contact for key clients.

An excellent remuneration package is on offer including a salary of up to c£40,000 per annum, company pension, free parking and hybrid working opportunities. Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within a digital marketing or performance marketing role, ideally within an agency environment
  • Significant hands-on Paid Media experience alongside a strong strategic understanding of SEO, with strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Experience managing campaign budgets, analysing performance data and making commercially focused optimisation decisions
  • Strong client management and communication skills, with the confidence to present performance, challenge ideas and provide strategic recommendations
  • Experience mentoring, supporting or managing team members, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Oversee performance across SEO and Paid Media client portfolios, reviewing strategies, KPIs and performance trends to ensure activity remains commercially focused
  • Provide strategic challenge and support to channel specialists, identifying underperformance and agreeing clear optimisation and recovery plans
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, attending strategy meetings, performance reviews and reporting calls while supporting Account Leads with client performance
  • Review reporting, account delivery and client-facing outputs to ensure high standards of accuracy, insight and quality
  • Plan, build, manage and optimise Paid Media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn where additional delivery support is required
