Mechanical & Electrical Facilities Consultant

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Facilities Consultant to work on a major, long-term project with a leading global consultancy. The successful candidate will work within an experienced professional team, surveying and recording mechanical and electrical assets across a large and technically complex site.

Successful candidates need to demonstrate previous experience as an Asset/M&E Surveyor, Building Services Engineer, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. As the project is being delivered in partnership with a leading global property and construction consultancy, this is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant project while gaining valuable experience across the building services and infrastructure sector.

Skills & Experience
  • Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services
  • Ability to identify plant and equipment
  • Experience within facilities, estates, maintenance, engineering or building services
  • Confident using tablets, computers and digital data-capture systems
  • Comfortable working independently across a large site
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Willingness to complete required security/safeguarding checks
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Survey and identify mechanical and electrical assets
  • Apply asset tags where required
  • Record make, model, serial number, location and condition
  • Capture photographs and upload information digitally
  • Complete surveys accurately and systematically
  • Liaise with Estates, Facilities and Engineering teams
  • Follow all site, security, health & safety and safeguarding procedures
