Overview

Are you a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive looking to manage a broad caseload spanning wills, probate, trusts and estate planning within a supportive and established legal practice? Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a respected firm in their search for a Private Client Solicitor, joining a team that operates across Nottinghamshire.

This role would suit an experienced private client professional with at least 3 years’ PQE who enjoys working closely with clients on a wide range of matters. You'll take ownership of files from instruction through to completion, advising on estate planning, probate, LPAs, trusts and inheritance tax matters whilst maintaining high standards of client care.

Alongside a salary of up to £70,000 per annum D.O.E, you'll have the opportunity to join a supportive team environment and manage a varied private client caseload, plus an array of benefits.

Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in private client law
  • Experience managing a varied caseload involving wills, LPAs, probate, inheritance tax, trusts and estate administration
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and private client best practice
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal matters clearly and sensitively
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Draft, review and advise clients on wills and estate planning arrangements tailored to individual circumstances
  • Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and explain available options to clients
  • Manage probate applications and oversee estate administration from instruction through to distribution
  • Advise clients on inheritance tax matters, trust administration and estate planning strategies
  • Handle complex estate administrations, including asset valuation and liability management
