Sales Manager

Overview

Express Recruitment are excited to be working with an established specialist technology company. Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to identify growth opportunities across both existing and prospective customers, with a focus on Enterprise level opportunities.

Our client is a leading provider of technology, software and managed services, working with a wide range of organisations across the UK. With a strong reputation within the industry and a dedicated Innovation Centre, they provide customers with access to market-leading technology and solutions designed to improve efficiency, productivity and business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to take ownership of a Business Development function, with a salary of £40,000 + £10,000 OTE. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to lead and develop a team while working closely with Sales, Marketing and key technology partners to drive business growth.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or a similar commercial management role
  • Experience managing and developing a sales or Business Development team
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, pipeline management and sales reporting
  • Proven track record of generating opportunities and achieving or exceeding targets
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new Enterprise growth opportunities across existing and prospective customers
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Business Development team, setting targets and driving performance
  • Create and deliver targeted campaigns across LinkedIn, telephone, events and other outreach channels
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and key partners to develop campaigns and maximise opportunities
  • Manage pipeline reporting, forecasting and CRM activity to drive performance and improve results
