Tax Advisory Manager

Overview

Are you an ambitious, self-motivated tax professional looking to take the next step in your career? Express Recruitment are supporting a leading national accountancy firm with international reach in their recruitment of a tax professional to join an established practice in Nottingham city centre.

The successful candidate will join an expanding Tax Advisory team, working closely with Directors and Partners to deliver high-quality, bespoke tax advice across a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, and high-net-worth individuals.

Skills & Experience
  • CTA qualified (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Proven track record in mixed tax or corporate tax advisory within accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge across direct taxation, including corporate and capital taxes
  • Excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines effectively
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver bespoke tax advisory projects, including corporate restructuring, share transactions, property tax planning, and exit/succession strategies
  • Manage and nurture strong client relationships while proactively identifying new advisory opportunities
  • Prepare technical tax reports, documentation and advisory correspondence
  • Support senior leadership with complex tax planning projects and in-depth technical research
  • Continuously review portfolio data to spot planning and advisory value-add opportunities
