Temporary Funding Case Assessors – Adult Social Care

Overview

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a well-established Local Authority who are recruiting for a Temporary Funding Advisor to join their Adult Social Care department to assist in making executive decisions regarding applications for funding of government grants for those in need.

Within this role, you will be responsible for assessing each individual application, considering the extent of the urgency whilst considering the impacts or risks of health and safety of those involved. You will be working with vulnerable members of the community and dealing with sensitive situations; therefore the successful candidate will be required to act with integrity and respect and provide relevant support at all levels.

Skills & Experience
  • Demonstratable administration and data entry skills essential
  • Ability to handle distressing calls with individuals from all backgrounds
  • Polite, professional and understanding attitude towards clients
  • Fast and accurate data entry speeds
  • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Act (GDPR)
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Process confidential data on behalf of successful applicants to ensure accurate payments
  • Assess the vulnerability of the individual based on their own individual needs
  • Act as the first point of contact for funding case enquiries, including telephone and email correspondence
  • Update a bespoke internal database with confidential financial information
  • Co-ordinate case information between managers and administrators, ensuring cases are actioned within the required timeframes
