Overview

Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a reputable organisation with the recruitment of Temporary Labourers to assist with the set-up and preparation of a Festive Event. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a busy, festive event, helping to ensure the market is ready to welcome visitors. The successful candidates will support the set-up team with a variety of general labouring duties, ensuring the site is prepared safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous labouring or manual handling experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Physically fit and comfortable with lifting, carrying and working outdoors
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of general duties
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the set-up and preparation of market stalls, structures and event areas
  • Moving, lifting and positioning equipment, materials and stock around the site
  • Carrying out general labouring duties as required by the site team
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
  • Following all relevant health and safety procedures when handling equipment and materials
  • Working effectively as part of a team to ensure the market is ready on schedule
  • Taking instructions from supervisors and supporting colleagues with day-to-day tasks
