Yorkshire Based Property Manager

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and growing property management business. A full UK driving licence is essential, as regular travel to sites is required, sites will range from North Notinghamshire to Barnsley, Leeds and Sheffield. There will be the occasional requirement to travel to client site which is based in Nottingham.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in residential property management essential
  • Comfortable to cover distances from Nottingham to Leeds
  • Understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements within residential property management
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience using property management software is advantageous
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential developments, ensuring compliance with lease obligations and relevant legislation, mainly freehold new build housing estates
  • Oversee contractors and maintenance works, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, including AGMs and residents' meetings, providing updates on budgets, maintenance and expenditure
  • Manage service charge budgets and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Section 20 consultation procedures where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, contractors and stakeholders, responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service while supporting the continued success and growth of the business
